XS BNR32 GT-R runs 10.4 in the 1/4 mile
11/29/2008
The XS BNR32 Skyline GT-R Time Attack car ran a 10.4 second @ 137mph 1/4 mile at the IDRC race last weekend at the IDRC Nationals. The car was piloted by Eric Hsu, a consultant for XS Engineering, in full time attack trim including suspension and alignment. The only change made to the car for the event was the Nitto NT01 road race tires. Eric short shifted the run at "low" boost (1.8bar) so the car definitely could have gone faster. Not bad for a time attack car with a factory Getrag 6-speed H pattern transmission!
Eric went on to win the GT-R Challenge division of the IDRC race due to a faster, drag prepped GT-R red lighting.
